Our family just got back from a vacation to the World Waterpark in West Edmonton Mall. It was a lot of fun! We spent an entire day surrounded by water and just playing and enjoying ourselves. The kids area is so much fun, my kids had the absolute times of their lives! Even our baby who missed both his naps was a joy because he was so happy playing in the water.
I love when we have the opportunity to take vacations together as a family. You get to get away from the hubub of your normal lives, you’re not constantly thinking about the laundry that needs to be done, or the yard that needs to be taken care of. Instead, you get to focus on each other, and the relationships that you have. I always feel so much closer to my kids, and more in tune with them when we’ve been able to get away and regroup.
Traveling has always been a love of mine, whether it’s to a warm beach in another country, or to see some of the worlds best monuments. I love getting out and seeing the world and all the beauty it has to offer, which is why I created my travel line of pop art.
When we are on vacation, I find that I am especially fascinated with the local architecture. I am always amazed at the intricacies and details that are in the buildings and statues, especially when they were created in ancient civilizations where they had far less technology than we do today. I find it amazing the time and effort put into their work, when now a days, we’re more focused on a quick turnaround than amazing production.
Anywho, that’s just a little insight into my mind and why I created the travel line of prints. I have been having so much fun with my designs, and am excited to launch my new line this week.
Take care for now!
